This class is being taught by Ashlan Darsey of Have Some More ATL.
During this 6-hour intermediate class you will build on the skills you learned in the beginner class and learn new skills including using a lead came border, black patina, and more discussion on the specific challenges of designing for stained glass. You must have previously taken a beginner class with us or elsewhere, or have beginner-level knowledge of the process. Please email us if you have questions about the experience requirement for this class.
There will be a 30-45 minute break in the middle of class. Please feel free to bring a packed lunch. There is a refrigerator and a microwave available for use.
-Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes to class.
-All tools and supplies will be provided but bring your own if you want to work with what you will be using at home. If you prefer wearing a mask while grinding or soldering, please bring your own.
Safety/Liability: Minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed upon arrival. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Ashlan Darsey from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Ashlan Darsey.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: ATL Glassworks LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled, your registration will be transferred to the next available class. If you are unable to attend the next available class, you will be issued a refund. You may cancel a class for any reason for a full refund until 7 days prior to the scheduled class. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled class are non-refundable.
