This is an Intermediate level class. Basic cutting and soldering skills are required. If you have no glass experience, please sign up for one of our Beginner classes first.
This class will teach you how to construct a one-of-a-kind 3D rectangular box with a hinged lid. Several patterns will be available to choose from, as well as a selection of bevels to be used along with sheet glass.
If you want to make your own box design, please email us a copy of the pattern so we can make sure it is appropriate for the allotted time.
Each workshop is limited to four students so everyone gets plenty of personalized instruction and assistance. At the end of the class you will have the knowledge and confidence to begin building your own 3D glass creations including jewelry boxes, candle holders, terrariums, and whatever else your imagination comes up with.
All materials and supplies are included, but feel free to bring your own cutter and soldering iron if you want to work with the same tools you would use in your own studio.
-Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes to class.
-Safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves and disposable masks will be provided, but please bring your own if you have them..
