Sunday June 29 - 12pm - 4pm - Intro to Stained Glass with Have Some More ATL
This class is being taught by Ashlan Darsey of Have Some More ATL.
During this 4-hour beginner class you will learn all the steps to make your very own stained glass suncatcher including cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. You will be able to choose from the available designs (not all are pictured) and pick your own glass colors to truly customize your design, and go home with a finished product.
Each class is limited to four students so everyone gets plenty of personalized instruction and assistance. At the end of the class you will have the knowledge and confidence to begin working on your own projects independently. (And if you need tools and supplies to start working at home, we’ve got you covered! ATL Glassworks sells starter kits that include all the items used in class.)
-Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes to class.
-Masks are not required, but we recommend bringing one to wear during the grinding step of the process.
-Safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves will be provided, but please bring your own if you have some.
Safety/Liability: Minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed upon arrival. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Ashlan Darsey from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Ashlan Darsey.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: ATL Glassworks LLC reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
