Wednesday July 9 - Advanced Soldering with Day - 5:30pm-8pm
This advanced soldering class is designed for people who already know the basic steps of stained glass but want to take their soldering to the next level. The class is taught by Day Kennedy, owner of ATL Glassworks and Daylight Glassworks.
Each class is limited to four students so everyone gets plenty of personalized instruction and assistance. At the end of the class you will have learned some new techniques and gained the confidence to continue improving your soldering skills at home.
-Please bring your own soldering iron. Soldering irons are available to use, but it’s best to practice on the iron you will be using regularly at home.
-I recommend bringing in a couple of completed pieces or pictures of completed pieces. It’s always helpful to see your current skill level so I can understand what you’re struggling with and how to help you most.
-Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes to class.
-If you prefer wearing a respirator while soldering, please bring your own.
Safety/Liability: Minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed upon arrival. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Day Kennedy from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Day Kennedy.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: ATL Glassworks LLC reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled, your registration will be transferred to the next available class. If you are unable to attend the next available class, you will be issued a refund.
